The Rapid pocEEG (AE-918P) POD is an 8-channel EEG device that integrates into Nihon Kohden G-Series patient monitors and is intended to provide rapid brain function assessment in the ICU & NICU. The device amplifies, analyzes, and displays the raw EEG waveform within the patient monitor, that also has the ability for traditional advanced EEG review methods. It also enables Amplitude Integrated EEG (aEEG) and Density Spectral Array (DSA) displays which provide views that can assist to find brain abnormalities quickly.
