NK-HiQ™ HL7 Server Extension

The NK-HiQ HL7 Server Extension is designed to facilitate automated transfer of information from Nihon Kohden patient monitors to hospital information systems. The NK-HiQ HL7 Server Extension has been developed to:

• Provide outbound vital signs from a Nihon Kohden patient monitoring system to almost any HL7-compliant EMR system
• Simplify patient admission and help ensure accuracy of patient demographics using inbound ADT capability
• Use an integrated interface engine that enables the easy exchange of electronic information with HL7-compliant EMR systems

Part of the NK-HiQ Enterprise Gateway platform, the NK-HiQ HL7 Server Extension includes all the software, hardware and professional services necessary to facilitate the transfer of patient admission, discharge, transfer data (ADT) and vital signs results messages between Life Scope® patient monitors and almost any HL7-compliant EMR system.
